Bay Lights Charters offers our beautiful 72-foot yacht 'Gas Light' for weddings and events up to 50 people. The amazing venue of San Francisco Bay provides wonderful scenery year-round. Our yacht is a modern replica of an 1874 scow schooner that delivered goods and passengers across San Francisco Bay during the late 1800s. With an area rich in nautical history and fully customizable cruise options, Bay Lights Charters provides clients with a unique and unforgettable celebration experience.

Facilities and Capacity

Bay Lights Charters venue is a large yacht perfect for weddings with an on-board event venue that provides clients with a unique San Francisco Bay sailing experience. Our yacht 'GAS LIGHT' is a replica scow schooner which features an 18’ by 30’ cabin below deck, so a large open space below decks for you and your guests. The cabin includes a 12-foot long mahogany salon table, with plenty of seating for your guests. Because of the flat-bottomed hull design, the boat sails flat and super smoothly, creating a stable environment that makes food and beverage services seamless and easily manageable. The boat is a perfect event venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, engagement parties, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, the morning after the wedding brunch and other special celebrations. The venue offers an upscale and sophisticated yet comfortable setting that allows clients to create the wedding celebration that you’ve always dreamed of. The boat's sound system can be tailored to your music playlist with great sound above or below decks and we have hosted a band or two aboard the ship if this is what you prefer.
