After months of planning, a wedding ultimately comes down to just a few wonderful, frenzied hours filled with family, friends, hugs, laughter, tears, and memories. Within those few hours, hundreds of once-in-a-lifetime moments might occur—many of which you, as the bride and groom, will not get to witness at your wedding because you’ll be busy doing other things. A talented wedding photographer will make sure you do not miss the quiet, loving hug between happy parents as your vows are spoken. Your conservative best friend letting loose on the dance floor. Tired and giddy bridesmaids mugging for the camera. 

My name is Tsafrir (Mike) Melamed. As your wedding photographer, it’s my job—and my privilege—to capture all of those special, fleeting moments during your wedding, plus a great many others, so that in the weeks, months, and years to come, you will be able to experience them, possibly for the first time, and then enjoy them over and over again. In the photojournalism style, I stay behind the scenes, snapping candid shots as the story unfolds and taking more formal, staged photographs when appropriate. The result is a joyous and natural collection of scenes from your most special day.

I’ll also photograph and preserve for you the myriad details of your wedding—the ones you’ll spend months agonizing over—such as your shoes. The table settings. Your wedding rings. The beading on your beautiful wedding gown. The boutonnieres on the groomsmen’s tuxes. The days of awkward, far-too-formal wedding party photos are going the way of the dinosaur. Photojournalism is about capturing all of the people at your wedding at their comfortable, candid best, and re-creating the story of your wedding in photos in the most natural way possible.

I've been working with happy couples since 2004, and my photography services come with glowing recommendations . I’m currently booking into 2019/2020 wedding season.
